Snail-a-bration

Here is my card for Artful Legacy this week. I absolutely LOVE this little snail. I can think of many ideas to use this snail for. The Snail-a-bration also came from Artful Legacy. I love the play on words!! I used Stampin' Up! for the paper (designer series Rainbow Sherbet) I thought it is so Spring like with the colors. Colored the snail with Copic markers. Please check out Artful Legacy's blog to see other great ideas!! Enjoy!!

Naughty/humorous HO HO HO Swap...not for the easily offended

*********If your offended easily please
turn away now***********

So I hosted a swap on SCS and you had to make Holiday inspired naughty or humorous cards and these are what the ladies came up with. Only one was truly naughty. This was alot of fun to do and can't wait until next year :)

Also we had one lady drop out because her mom is very sick. So I got together with some of the gals and we donated an extra card so she can share them with her. I also donated all my extra cards to her. I really hope she's excited and surprised when she gets the package!!

Scarecrow

I made 6 of these cards for some ladies I swap with. I got this stamp set in Jan. right before it went away and never got a chance to use it. So I thought what a better time then fall :) I love summer but, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. Not b/c it's scary but b/c it's fun to dress the kids up and watch their faces light up when they get a bag full of candy. Plus the leaves are changing and the smell in the air is crisp and clean. It's just a wonderful thing. I always say I would love to live somewhere warm but I think I would miss the seasons changing. Well I hope you like my card.

Stamp set: Stampin Up! Happy Blessings
Paper:Stampin Up! Creamy Caramel, Ruby Red
Colored with Stampin Up! markers

Finally the juices are flowing :)

So I finally had time to sit down and make a card :) I even got to break out some items I got from Bekah in my naked mail swap. I love the MTF buttons and ribbon. I think the paper was from her too. Thanks Bek!! So here is the card I came up with.

Here are a couple of cards I did. The first one is for a swap I hosted and the second one is for a recipe swap I am in. Trying to get my swaps finished before I pack up the craft room. I will be sad to see is go away for awhile. But my space will double when we move so that's awesome!!

Feeling blue swap

This is a card I'm doing for wendysu's feeling blue swap. I really like the way it came out. I don't usually do sympathy cards b/c they are sad. So this is what I came up with. Since we have to use blue it mad designing it alittle easier.

Stamp set: Pocket Silhouette from Stampin' Up!
Paper: Bashful blue, bliss blue(retired), certainly celery, and Kraft

St. Patty's card

Here is a card I did for a swap. I just decided to do it St. Patty's day themed b/c it's the next holiday coming up and my Birthday :) The idea for the swap is not to do a square card. Thanks Jen...for making me step outside the box :)

Birthday card

This is a birthday card I did for a swap on SCS. I love this set. I have had it for awhile but never really got a chance to use it. So now I gave it a shot. The coloring on the crab I'm not happy about but I used a blender pen first and it messed the paper up so I colored over it with a copic marker. I'm still happy with the way ti turned out for the most part. Thanks!

Sale-a-bration set

This is a very cool set form Stampin' Up! called Congrats. It's part of the 2009 sale-a-bration catty. I did this card for two reason one for Shelli's challenge and the other for a swap I'm in on SCS. So it worked out great. TFL!

More animal cracker cards...

I've decided that my goal is to make a card with every set of stamps I own. Now this is going to be VERY challenging b/c I own alot of sets. But I thought I would start with a new set. Here is what I came up with. I did these using the OSW template. It really makes making cards alot easier.Nice template to use if your just getting started and looking for help in designing.

Not sure about this bunny and I don't like the dark color.
Tried to help by adding the dark flower but I'm not feeling it.

Like the chick

Like the squirrel

I really like the penguin

SU's Animal cracker set

So I got this set and I wasn't to sure if I really liked it or not. So I didn't mount it for a week thinking maybe I would figure out something else to do with it. But I showed it to JP(my hubby) and he said he liked it alot and I should see what I can do with it. So here is the giraffe. It's ok...I have to work on it. But I think I do like the set now that I see it on paper. I have just been in a funk. I can't get my brain to function like I would like it to. Lots going on so I think it's just busy thinking about other stuff and not on making things. If that makes since. I cut the stars out of chipboard and put yellow CS on them and then topped that with yellow stickles. I love that stuff...so now they twinkle like real stars. :) The stars on on 3-d dots so they are raised.

Daughters Birthday invite

So these are the cards I decided to make for my daughters birthday that is coming up. We rented the skating rink privately for a couple of hours...mostly so I can get on skates and not look like an idiot in front of random people...LOL. She wanted to do the skating thing this year so I thought this would be a cute card for the invites. I had my hubby draw the skate template and then I added the lace and the wheels(they move). I forgot to draw the lines on the wheel but this is only my first try at it. The cards will be all different colors, that way I can spice things up a bit. Thanks fro looking!

No stamps where used in this one.
The card is a 6x6, the skate is done with glossy white and the wheels where glazed in clear embossing powder.
