Found cat...my daughter named Babe

So exactly a week from today a cat showed up on my door step crying. At first I thought it was stuck in the wheel well of my husbands truck but when I went outside to investigate it came running up to me like it belong in my house. Being that it was VERY cold and I love animals I picked her up and brought her inside my attached garage. I have cats of my own and didn't know if she was sick or had any problems and didn't want to risk bringing her in the house. So the garage is heated and I thought it would be an ideal place until I could find her owners. So she has been with us for a week now and let me tell you she is nuts. Now of course she wants in the house but I tried to introduce mine with her and they don't like each other. So that just can't happen. So I have fliers posted but no one has come to claim her. The more I get to know her I'm wondering if she was mistreated. She seem to duck or move quickly out of the way if you come down to pet her. All I do know is she was hungry and tired. Now she's rested and has a super full belly and she wants in. :) I hope I can get her a good home. I feel bad for her. My daughter loves her and reads her book out there with her everyday. She said "can't she just be our garage kitty" cute huh?We put a kitty tower out there and a fluffy bed so she would be comfortable. Well I think she's in heat so we are going to wait for 2 weeks and then if no one claims her my friend runs a animal shelter she is going to get her fixed and shotted and get her a home. Thought I would share my kitty story with you. I posted some pictures so you can see how cute she is.
