My new bathroom :)

So this is my new bathroom. Almost completely finished. All I have left to do is the counter-top. I want to give a big thank you to my mama who gave me the money to do it and painted it too :). One of her gifts to us. She's the best mama in the world. And I would also like to thank my brother Joey who did a lot of the demoing and the installing of my bathtub...and my dad who did all the dry walling and made my wall square :). My DH and me did the tiling on the walls and the floor not an easy task either. I'm just happy it came out great in the end. Once we find a laminate that will look good over the turquoise laminate we will change that out and be all done{big grin}

Here are a couple of pictures of what we have been doing around here. It's my craft room, bathroom and and dining room. I only painted my craft room I still have to get new carpet and some shelves. :)

My husband messed up on the last row of tile and now he has to
re-do them so it's not totally finished but it's coming along :)

Michael Jackson Tribute

He was a great artist and will be missed dearly.
I grew up listening to his music and have passed that down to my daughter.
Came as quit a shock!! You rock Michael!!

Destiny's Dance

So here is my daughter(and friend) dressed in her costume for her dance recital. It was alot of fun and the girls did such a great job. It was on Saturday the 6th of June. I thought I would just share some pictures with you.

New house...

So this is the new house I have been spending all my time at lately. I have been slaving away trying to get it to mive in codition. Me and my mom painted almost every room. I'm in the middle of painted what will be my new craft room. It's paneling now and it makes it look so much smaller then it is. I also have to figure out what I want to do to the kitchen. It needs new countertops and floor but that will be in time. Right now we are working on the bathroom. We got the tub out today and my brother is going to frame it in tomorrow. Then all the fun tiling work :) I posted some pictures of the house below. Thanks for looking! :)

Here are a couple of cards I did. The first one is for a swap I hosted and the second one is for a recipe swap I am in. Trying to get my swaps finished before I pack up the craft room. I will be sad to see is go away for awhile. But my space will double when we move so that's awesome!!

Husbands are like children :)

So I left my hubby in the car whole I went into our dollar general to buy a bottle for my naked mail swap and my hubby got his hands on the camera ...guess what he was doing?? Taking pictures of nothing. His boredom was driving him crazy so he had to play with the camera. So I decided to post the pictures of what he took while sitting in the truck...

Coming to Terms

It's been a long minute since I posted

So alot has gone on in the last month...we went on vacation, well a mini vacation to a state park called Starved Rock. I just love that place. We went up on Thursday April 9th through April 12th and did alot of hiking. the whole weekend kinda just flew by.It started out alittle rough...when checking in the idiot didn't have a clue what she was doing over charged my credit card which really ticked me off, then they put us in this room that smelled sooooooo bad...like chlorine. Because it's window is the pool house. So I had to go down stairs and make them switch us. So we moved to another room, then we had to move again in the morning b/c we where in the wrong wing. Since the family is so big we end up getting the entire wing of the hotel. So we moved but couldn't actually be in the room b/c the maid was cleaning so we went out for a couple of hours. We decided to go to the next town over and go shopping for some stuff we left behind :).On Saturday Nana got the Easter eggs filled with candy and we hid 65 of them around the outside. It was fun watching the kids find all the Easter eggs. They had alot of fun. My daughter and her friend went swimming alot of the time. They've been without a pool for months b/c of winter so they had lots of fun swimming but they got a rash from the chlorine, there was a ton of it in the pool. And trying to get 2 twelve year olds to take a shower when other stuff is going on is not very easy :). Me and my hubby got to spend some time together walking the trails and just hanging out. We had a really good time. I want to go back this summer. So we'll see what happens.Pictures are below. Enjoy!!
