Someone broke into my truck...

So I live in a quite neighborhood off in alittle subdivision on a cul-de-sac and on Saturday night well Sunday morning our truck was broken into. I heard a car pull up and I didn't pay attention the dogs started barking but I assumed it was the neighbors kids coming home. So I was getting ready to go to bed since it's 3 in the morning and I peek out the window and the truck light was on and I was weirded out by it. So I grabbed the keys and get 2 of my dogs and go outside to see why...and when I press the lock button the alarm lets me know the door isn't shut so I proceed to the truck and notice that all my stuff is scattered everywhere in the truck. Glove box is open, center arm thing is wide open, so I go back inside to wake up my husband and call 911. They tell me that this it was the 10th call and some stupid a** kids are going through the neighborhood breaking in cars. The doors were unlocked so the windows didn't get broke. We leave our doors unlocked all the time and I never thought we would have this problem. Nothing was stolen because I don't leave anything of value in my car, but it is very irritating. Well I guess it was a lesson learned. And I hope those little a**holes where caught. Doing this right after Christmas. Shame on them!!

Christmas with my dads family...

And last but not least Christmas with my dads family. We had fun. I don't see them often and my grandparents live in Ohio so they only come out once in awhile now since they are so old and don't drive. They need a ride from someone. This was nice because my uncle drove out with them and he is going back tomorrow. They stay for a couple of weeks to visit so I'll get a couple of chances to see them. We are going to have them over for dinner one night I think. In a way I'm just happy Christmas is over now. Move on to the next holiday.

Well I hope your holidays were as jolly as mine where and I hope you have a very Happy New Year filled with lots of blessings and good health!

Christmas at my Hubby's parents house...

On Christmas day we always go to my in-laws house to have Christmas. This year we had alot of fun. We played Apples to Apples board game. So much fun!! The we played Stage Fright Charades game that was the funnest game I think I've played in a long time. It a new twist on charades. I would recommend it for a family game. So here are some pictures of the family...

Christmas at my house...

So every year we have Christmas at our house on Christmas eve. With my mom and brothers. So it's kinda small but alot of fun. We had alot of fun this year although my mom broke her ankle 4 days before Christmas in that ice storm we had. She found it hard to get around my house with all the stairs. I got the most wonderful gift a real SLR camera with 2 lenses and all kinds of different goodies. I was SO excited. My daughter got her Cell phone and a camera of her own. So she'll stop stealing mine :) She also got some golf clubs...we love to golf. And my hubby got a new graphics card for his computer. We got other little things to but these are the big ones.

Decorating the Tree...

So we put up the tree...we usually put up a fake tree but we decided last year what the hell...support our local business and buy a tree so we did. Loved it. Although I was afraid of my cats climbing it. They didn't. So anyways we decided to get another real tree this year only it was tied up and we couldn't see how wide it was...yeah it's huge. Alot bigger then I would of bought. I can't even put it in front of our window because it will take the whole thing up.
But it's an awesome tree in the corner. Had to move all the furniture around but hey ya do what ya gotta do. And I've already added some presents and my daughter was so excited. She doesn't believe in Santa anymore so in one way it's nice that I don't have to hide the presents but it stinks because it means she's not my baby anymore(pre-teen) :) I told her I still believe in Santa and she just gave me the look. Oh well what's a mom to do...
